Technical Plant Manager, Millwork Shop

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Plant Manager to lead our dynamic manufacturing team in Scranton. This role is pivotal in transforming our millwork shop through innovative strategies aimed at boosting efficiency and production quality, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to safety and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the reorganization of the millwork facility to enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement processes and integrate cutting-edge technologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Lead change management initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; an Associate's degree in industrial, mechanical, or woodworking technology is also acceptable.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in plant or technical operations within the manufacturing sector, with a preference for woodworking or architectural millwork experience.
• Proficiency in the architectural woodworking production process and equipment, including CNCs and finishing systems.
• Demonstrated experience in leading reorganization projects such as lean manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, ERP software, and maintenance tracking systems.
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent is preferred.
