**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to individuals on site by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity and/or hazards.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location's buildings, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
+ Observe and report any unusual or suspicious findings encountered during patrols within the educational environment.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
+ Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Able to ride a bike is required.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
