Registered Nurse Job Details:

• Shift: Monday-Friday 7a-3p
• Pay Rate: Starting at $40/hour
• Start & End Date: Start ASAP & Ongoing
• Contract Length: Starting at 13 weeks with option for permanent placement or extension

Role & Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the day program, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the medical needs of program participants while serving as a clinical resource to the team. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing nursing care and health oversight for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and organizational policies
• Monitoring health status, identifying changes in condition, and coordinating appropriate follow-up care
• Developing, reviewing, and updating individualized healthcare plans
• Communicating with physicians, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, documentation requirements, and medication administration protocols
• Supporting and educating direct support staff on health-related needs, procedures, and best practices
• Responding to medical concerns or emergencies within the day program setting

Registered Nurse Job Requirements:

• NJ RN License or PA Multistate License
• Minimum 1-year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 1-year prior experience in either Mental Health, IDD, Behavioral Health
