Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Management in New Oxford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, welcome employees and visitors, and maintain awareness of security-related activity. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a professional environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry by monitoring inbound and outbound traffic, screening deliveries as directed, and reporting suspicious activity or access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business facilities, and the perimeter, documenting observations and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
