Warehouse Associate
- Ensure accurate, efficient, and safe handling of merchandise during receiving, storage, and shipping
- Receive, offload, sort, store and retrieve products per regulations
- Assist in the shipping department
- Log incoming and outgoing packages with the use of a ERP system
- Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure proper flow of incoming materials and devices
- Inspect various safety equipment and fire extinguishers on a routine basis
- Maintain inventory levels, complete a weekly inventory count, and place inventory orders as needed
- Follow all safety requirements and maintain the work area
- High School diploma or GED required
- Warehouse, shipping & receiving experience preferred
- Excellent documentation skills
- Interest in working for a small company and warehouse; warehouse is under 2,000 sqft.
- Willing to be trained in handling dangerous goods to assist with packing materials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving abilities, flexible team player
- Comfortable working on a computer, basic computer skills required
- Must be an independent worker and self-starter capable of managing issues within the normal course and scope of the position with limited supervision
