Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Outpatient Director plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the Outpatient Department of ACRP, relating to financial management, scheduling, staffing, and personnel operations in accordance with prescribed program regulations, policies, priorities, and funding. The Director also plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the department to ensure that established goals, objectives, and services are accomplished in accordance with prescribed regulations, priorities, time limits, and funding conditions. Additional duties are to advise, make recommendations, and assist the Medical Director & Medical Supervisor in the formulation of goals and objectives and exercise independent judgment in the course of carrying out overall responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities Include:
- Directs the day-to-day operations of the assigned Outpatient clinic location.
- Manage office finances, budgets, and approve all purchases for office supplies or equipment.
- Ensure all Director and staff paperwork, tracking forms, and reports are completed and sent to the appropriate receiver in a timely manner.
- Complete, review, and audit records, charts, files, reports, correspondence, and other written materials of clients and by staff for accuracy of contents and timely completion.
- Supervise, monitor, assess, and regularly review staff performance and productivity, prepare and present staff performance evaluations, and conduct annual staff evaluations.
- Provide professional consultation to agency staff.
- Maintains, adheres to, and implements the agency's programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives.
- Identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for position openings at assigned location.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education / Experience:
- Must have a master's degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation in a recognized clinical discipline, including social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, or activity therapies. The Director shall be a mental health professional with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Must possess a valid license in the State of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Five years as a licensed provider preferred.
Required Clearances and Documentation:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
- Act 31/Act 126 Clearance Mandated Reporter Training
- Act 34 Clearance Pennsylvania State Police Background Check (Criminal History)
- Act 114 Clearance FBI Fingerprint
- Act 33 Clearance Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. at times with or without assistance.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing and moving.
