JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, lead, and support product and production quality activities throughout the engineering and manufacturing lifecycle.
• Develop, implement, and improve quality assurance tools, methods, and processes to ensure product and process compliance.
• Design and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products and production equipment.
• Conduct quality assurance testing and perform statistical analysis to monitor process capability and product quality performance.
• Utilize root cause analysis techniques to investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure corrective actions and deviations meet reliability and compliance standards and are properly documented.
• Support development and maintenance of PFMEA, Control Plans, and related quality documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and mitigate quality risks across production processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving yield, and enhancing process control.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related technical field.
• Experience with quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical findings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

• Practical knowledge of quality engineering principles typically gained through education and hands-on experience.
• Experience supporting inspection, testing, and production quality systems.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and basic quality metrics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge (basic to intermediate) of AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo is a plus.
• Experience using Minitab or similar statistical analysis tools preferred.
