**Job Summary:**
The Wireless Tech will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless communication systems and equipment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and looking to grow their careers in the wireless communications field. Bucket Truck & Climbing Exp. Preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the installation and configuration of wireless communication systems, including antennas, routers, and repeaters.
- Installing antenna & wireless equipment at heights from 40'-400' on towers, poles and other structures.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on wireless network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the testing and validation of wireless signals and performance metrics.
- Work collaboratively with senior technicians to identify and resolve technical issues reported by customers.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures while on-site at customer locations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technologies and industry trends.
- Provide excellent customer service and support during onsite visits and over the phone.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, LTE, etc.).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Previous experience or internships in the telecommunications or IT fields.
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools and software.
- Certifications related to wireless technology (e.g., CWNA, CCNA) are a plus.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work at heights and in various outdoor weather conditions.
