We are seeking a talented and creative Head Chef to join our upscale restaurant in the suburbs of Baltimore, near the Roland Park area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and execute a coastal-inspired menu that will delight our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a seasonal coastal menu that reflects the restaurant's upscale dining experience.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring quality standards and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control to maintain profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on coastal cuisine.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary creativity.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
