Job Summary
We are
seeking a detail-oriented Freight Coordinator to manage daily shipping,
logistics, and transportation activities. This role is
responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight, preparing accurate
shipping documentation, monitoring carrier performance, and supporting inventory
accuracy through cycle counts and reporting. The ideal candidate is organized,
proactive, and communicates effectively across operations, sales, and carrier
partners.
Key
Responsibilities
Freight
& Transportation Coordination
• Coordinate LTL, FTL, parcel, and international shipments.
• Schedule carrier pickups and deliveries; monitor shipment status and transit
timelines.
• Communicate with carriers to resolve delays, discrepancies, damages, or
delivery issues.
• Support freight claims, shortages, damages, and delivery exceptions as
needed.
Shipping
Documentation, Inventory & Reporting
• Prepare Bills of Lading, packing lists, and other required freight
documentation.
• Perform regular cycle counts and support inventory accuracy
initiatives.
• Run and maintain shipping, freight, and inventory reports as required.
• Maintain accurate freight, shipment, and inventory records in ERP systems.
• Assist with freight invoice review and discrepancy resolution.
Cross-Functional
Collaboration
• Work closely with warehouse, production, and sales teams to align
shipping schedules and delivery expectations.
• Communicate shipment status, delays, and delivery updates to the Sales team
as needed.
• Partner with customer service to support order fulfillment and issue
resolution.
• Support continuous improvement of logistics, inventory, and reporting
processes.
Qualifications
• 1–3 years
of experience in logistics, shipping, freight coordination, or inventory
support.
• Working knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping processes, carrier scheduling, and
freight documentation.
• Experience performing cycle counts and running operational reports.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor CloudSuite, QAD, or
SAGE.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kutztown, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
