Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Pittsburgh, PA at a hospital facility. You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and expertly operate CT scan equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will follow safety protocols, maintain imaging equipment, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology, or equivalent radiologic education.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography or ARRT certification with CT registry eligibility per facility policy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies and knowledge of contrast administration protocols.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-slice CT scanners and advanced imaging protocols.
• Prior experience in a high-volume trauma or tertiary care center.
• Additional certifications related to patient safety or advanced life support preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift: PM 10 (Evening schedule indicated).
• Schedule pattern includes 4x10 shifts.
• May be required to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts and/or overnight shifts as needed.
• May be expected to cover multiple units within the hospital and float within the facility as required.
