Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for a reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to work in downtown Carlisle. In this role, you will be ensuring that invoices are processed accurately and vendors are paid on time. The idea candidate will have 1-3 years experience. Work 9-3:30 pm. This is a long term contract through July 2026. Parking is not provided. Pay rate is $18-$21.75 an hour DOE. Please apply direct. Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and enter invoices into the accounting system with accuracy.
• Route invoices to the correct department heads for approval and follow up on pending items.

• Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile monthly statements, and resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Assist in preparing weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

• Maintain digital and physical financial records in accordance with company policy.

• Assist the accounting team with month-end closing activities and 1099 processing at year-end.

Should be able to pass all pre-employment background tests including local, state and federal criminal checks and drug screen. 100% working in the office in downtown Carlisle.Parking is not provided.

Part-time Accounts Payable position

Work 9-3;30 pm, 1/2 hour lunch or bring lunch and eat at desk
