We have an immediate Gastroenterology locums need in Pennsylvania. This assignment involves 24-hour call coverage with scheduled procedures and strong PA support for rounding.

Highlights

• Advanced procedures (EUS and ERCP) are optional
• PA support provided for rounding

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient settings
• Adult patient population
• Volume of 4-6 outpatient procedures daily
• Averages 8-10 admissions while on call

Schedule

• Intermittent blocks still available in early 2026
• 24-hour call coverage assignments
• Includes scheduled weekday procedures and rounding
• Weekend rounding based on patient volume

Procedures and Cases

• Primarily EGD and Colonoscopies
• Optional advanced case mix, including EUS and ERCP

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania state license is required
• Must have active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience

Credentialing Requirements

• Standard credentialing timeframe is 60 days
• Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates

Travel accommodations
