Quality Engineer Inspector

Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of incoming parts, in-process work, and final product using inspection equipment / gauging.
- Document inspection results.
- Review End Item Data Packs and First Article Inspection Reports.
- Develop and implement quality protocols for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to establish quality benchmarks and identify potential improvements.
- Recommend and implement corrective measures to improve product quality and overall process performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
- Review nonconformance dispositions for compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Collaborate with operations to identify opportunities for improvements to workflow and controls.
- Accommodate flexible scheduling as dictated by manufacturing needs.
- Perform receiving and shipping for the PA site.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, or similar field.
- Knowledge of quality processes and procedures.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
- Proficiency using inspection tools and equipment
- Strong technical writing skills

Employment Type: Exempt
The expected salary range for this role is $81,000-$116,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically made within the midrange, rather than the upper end.
Work Schedule: Full Time
Location: Onsite Mount Pleasant, PA
