About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Bartender to take an active role in the day-to-day operation and long-term development of our bar. Beyond providing exceptional service on the floor, this person will help train staff, manage ordering and inventory, and contribute to our evolving beverage menu. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who loves hospitality and wants to grow with an independent, neighborhood restaurant.

Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends (3–4 per week). Weekend availability is required.

What You'll Do

• Provide excellent, knowledgeable bar service with a focus on wine, spirits, and hospitality

• Lead, mentor, and train bartenders and barbacks to uphold Bloomsday's service standards

• Manage bar ordering and inventory, keeping stock levels consistent and waste minimal

• Collaborate with ownership and management to develop and refine our cocktail and beverage menu

• Help set the tone for a team-first, guest-focused bar environment

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of bartending experience, ideally in a wine-forward or full-service restaurant setting

• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail technique

• A natural leader who communicates well and enjoys supporting a team

• Reliable and consistent, with dependable availability for nights and weekends

• Someone genuinely excited about building something — not just maintaining it

Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience) + Tips
