The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill a Commercial Credit Analyst role located in the Doylestown, PA market. The successful candidate will be developing information for use by the Relationship Managers, Loan Committee, and Board Loan Committee for the purpose of making decisions on new and existing loans.
This position offers a generous base salary of up to $85K and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position).
Commercial Credit Analyst responsibilities include:
- Collecting and analyzing credit information from all available sources, including in-house, other financial institutions, and various agencies.
- Analyzing financial statements and all related material, in part, through the use of spreading software.
- Reviewing and critiquing file memos and credit presentations for other Credit Analysts.
- Working directly with other departments to facilitate workflow.
- Development and preparation of credit presentations to document credit files and provide the Relationship Managers and/or Loan Committee and Board Loan Committee with the information necessary to make informed credit decisions.
- Monitoring progress log for all scheduled annual reviews and ensuring completion of such reviews within the set time parameters.
- Monitoring the maintenance and updating of credit files.
- Reviewing Biweekly Loan Report for accuracy.
- Assuming management of departmental workflow in the absence of the Chief Credit Officer or Credit Dept. Manager.
- Assisting in training of Credit Analysts.
- Assuming additional responsibilities as requested.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration specializing in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Five or more years of credit analysis experience.
- Extensive knowledge of financial statements.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively with colleagues, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within an established time frame.
- Interpersonal skills to represent in a positive manner when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Must be proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
