Scheduling Coordinator (Dental Office) (FT)

Experienced Scheduling Coordinator:
We are looking for a motivated, energetic, positive-thinking, and professional person to join our growing team! We are a high-tech, fast-paced, privately owned dental practice. You must possess 2+ years of experience in the dental field and have experience with Open Dental/Dentrix or similar dental software. You will need to be comfortable with collecting copays, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and reviewing patient's treatment plans for this position. Experience with dental Insurance benefit verifications is preferred.

Position Requirements:

• 2 years of dental experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental scheduling software is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs as required.
• Friendly personality, Positive attitude, and ability to work effectively with a Team.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Answering phones, taking messages, & managing multiple phone lines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Strong organizational and anticipation skills.
• Strong focus and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.
• History of being cross-trained or willing to cross-train preferred.
• Experience with Oral Surgery, Dental, and Medical insurance billing and coding is a plus!
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• High-school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation / Benefits:

• We offer competitive wages based on experience.
• 1-week vacation after 6 months.

• After 1 year of employment:

  • 2 weeks vacation + 3 sick days.
  • 401K at 3% unmatched, plus year-end profit sharing.
• No evenings or weekends.
