We are seeking a highly motivated NPD Product Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the design, development, and launch of new products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and production goals. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the innovation and growth of our product portfolio.
1. Own the design and development of new products from concept to production.
2.Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and marketing teams to define product specifications and requirements.
3.Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to validate product designs.
4.Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
5.Identify and resolve design and manufacturing challenges to ensure product quality and performance.
6.Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components.
7.Support the transition of new products into production, ensuring smooth handoffs to manufacturing teams.
8. Be able to effectively demonstrate and test equipment on jobsites
9.Assist in Voice of Customer (VOC) events and get first hand information and product feedback from customers on use case of products and processes.
10.Be able to effectively communicate and work in a professional office environment and out on a construction site.
11.Provide product assistance to other areas of the company as needed.
12. Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.
Job Qualifications

Required:
Bachelors Degree in engineering and at least three (3) years of relevant experience required.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Must be a positive team player, willing to help wherever possible, and meet deadlines.
Must have an entrepreneurial & hands on mindset.

Preferred:
Experience in designing capital equipment and machines.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, machining, or 3D printing.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Physical Demand Requirements
Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
