Sage Connections is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide services within the school setting for the current â25ââ26 school year in a full-time role.
Sage Connections is a therapist- and woman-owned special education staffing company, founded by a Speech-Language Pathologist with firsthand experience working in schools.
Weâre looking for a compassionate and collaborative Special Education Teacher to provide direct instruction and individualized support for students with diverse needs. Whether you're experienced in the field or transitioning into a new district, weâre here to help you succeed. There are multiple positions/caseloads available!
Position Details
- Caseload Type: Multiple available - Resource Room, Life Skills, Autism Classroom
- Age Range: K-12 options available
- Start & End Date: ASAP - June 2026
- Onsite Positions
Responsibilities
- Deliver specially designed instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Adapt curriculum and materials to meet diverse learning needs
- Participate and lead IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Special Education
- Valid state teaching credential with appropriate Special Education endorsement
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- Passion for inclusive education and supporting all learners
