Architect - Production Housing

Webuild () is actively seeking a highly experienced Architect to take the helm in overseeing the architectural design process for single-family and multi-family residential production home communities on a nationwide scale.

Our ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in performing project design and plan development specifically for single-family and multi-family production homes. Experienced in the meticulous development of architectural plans, elevations, and comprehensive construction documentation. Your experience must have encompassed working closely with clients to assess their needs, creating conceptual renderings, conducting thorough cost analyses, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring rigorous code compliance.

As the Architect, you will assume a leadership position with responsibility for all project management activities. This includes hands-on drafting and design work, either through direct design efforts or by overseeing a project team to execute the full life cycle of design activities for production housing plans for homebuilders. Your duties will extend to conducting needs assessments, reviewing and ensuring compliance with local building codes, developing home designs tailored to individual communities (inclusive of architectural plans, elevations, and construction documents), estimating project costs, assessing construction feasibility, and overseeing physical construction as required. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing project timelines, budgets, and proposal development.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline. Registration as a Registered Architect (RA) with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and registration in multiple states are highly preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture and Revit is desired, and you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
