QE Data Test Lead

Position Description

This role will require someone in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.

For a leading large financial services client, CGI is looking for a Quality Engineering lead with excellent hands-on experience in planning and implementing end-to-end testing services. CGI partner will be responsible for QE deliverables and ETL Data/UI/API Testing.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Lead overall test deliverables of assigned project from inception to deployment.

• Acts Single point of Contact for testing efforts for the assigned module/application.
• Create Test Strategy and Test Plans and other test artifacts for releases
• Collaborate with Product and Development leads to define acceptance criteria and test coverage scope for each sprint/release.
• Create Test Cases and defects in JIRA XRAY test management tool and establish linkages between user stories, test cases, and defects for traceability.
• Execute the Test cases and publish the reports for each release.
• Configure JIRA dashboards and filters to provide real-time visibility into test progress and quality status.
• Maintain constant communication with BA's, LOB and other project members including global delivery teams.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

6+ years as a Data Test Lead performing overall test deliverables of assigned project from inception to deployment. .

ETL/DWH Testing experience with RDMBS and/or Hadoop with Reporting. .

Excellent in planning and implementing test solutions for Table and File ingestion ETL processes

Must be able to write complex SQL queries for extensive data testing .

Good to have beginner to mid-level understanding of Python Data Testing approach and framework .

A deep understanding of Agile principles, ceremonies, scrum calls, demos and planning sessions. .

Strong communication and facilitation skills across distributed teams.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 - $139,300.00.
