Shift: Sunday–Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM

What will I actually do?

• Uphold daily safety requirements aligned to OSHA, Symbotic, and customer practices.
• Watch real-time performance of automated robotic vehicles and staffing availability.
• Align order production and inbound receipts with the customer’s schedule.
• Diagnose and clear system faults; choose the optimal recovery path to maximize uptime.
• Work with off-site Symbotic software engineers and onsite management to resolve software issues.
• Operate the system via a custom HMI/GUI and verify safe operation.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance with technicians and the Automation Manager based on warehouse needs.
• Document major events accurately; become the resident software subject-matter resource.
• Analyze log files to pinpoint automated vehicle failures; record details and notify service teams.
• Coach fellow operators on troubleshooting and minor repairs appropriate to your training.
• Escalate through tiered support to drive throughput and quality.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

What do I need to bring?

• 1+ year in a computer or automation environment (preferred).
• Confidence directing and guiding standard work for teammates.
• Detail orientation and clear, concise communication.

• Positivity when receiving feedback and recognition.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-urgency setting.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.

What is the environment like?

• Access structures via steep stairs and work near elevated railings.
• Indoor conditions with temperature variation from 105° to 32° F.
• PPE required at construction-phase sites (hard hat, safety vest, steel-toe shoes, eye/ear protection, fall protection).
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs; move up to 80 lbs.
• Stand/walk up to 10–12 hours with frequent reaching.
• Work at heights up to 45 ft and in spaces as tight as 24 inches; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
• Perform tasks that may involve bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive motions using both hands and feet.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout and fall protection.

In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in automation software, troubleshooting, and operational planning while mentoring others.
