We are currently looking for a Slitter Operator who will be responsible for setting up and operating slitting machines to cut master rolls of vinyl material according to order specs. The role will involve adjusting blades, monitoring product quality, labeling and packaging finished rolls, and ensuring accurate measurements. A great Slitter Operator is reliable, and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn multiple machines and grow within the company. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that finishing processes are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

• Set up and operate slitting machines according to product specifications.
• Adjust blades and machine settings for each order to ensure proper width and cut quality.
• Retrieve and return master roll material as needed for each job
• Inspect material during the slitting process to identify and correct defects.
• Inspect material quality and measure width frequently to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Label boxes, wrap rolls, and package finished products according to each job specification.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and trouble shotting to ensure optimal performance. Report any machine or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure inventory accuracy of the location by scanning all material.
• Perform Syteline-related transactions to document all materials consumed, produced, and to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system data integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area, following safety and housekeeping guidelines.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations to eliminate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Shift Schedule: 1st Shift, M-Th 5am-3:30pm, with some Friday/Saturday overtime as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience operating slitting or similar machines in manufacturing preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machines issues.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, measurements, and quality standards.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to identify product defects.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must have good math skills and ability to use tape measure accurately.
• Capable of performing all work tasks in the department and able to train others.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory transactions; ERP system experience a plus.
