Intake Specialist ( Legal Assisant) – Carlisle Office

Full-Time | $35,000–$40,000 per year

Ambler Law Offices is a growing criminal defense and family law firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a reliable and friendly Intake Specialist to join our Carlisle office. This role is ideal for someone who loves talking with people, staying organized, and helping clients through the very first step of their legal matter.

Position Overview:
The Intake Specialist is often the first point of contact for new clients. You will answer incoming calls, gather essential information, set up new cases in our case management software, and assist the paralegal team in getting files started and organized. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
• Conduct new client intakes and collect relevant information
• Set up new cases in our case management software (training provided)
• Assist paralegals in beginning case files and preparing documents
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all intake information is complete
• Provide general administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior office or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable learning new software and following established procedures
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Schedule & Location:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• In-person at our Carlisle office

Compensation:

• $35,000–$40,000 annually, based on experience
