Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/CSR - PT Office Position

Position Overview:

Exam One World Wide / DKN Paramedical Services is seeking a highly experienced Medical Assistant with advanced phlebotomy skills to support in-office paramedical insurance examinations. This position is **not suitable for entry-level or newly certified candidates**. The ideal applicant is a seasoned healthcare professional who can work independently, adhere to strict insurer protocols, and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality exam services. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Position includes working with mobile examiners, agents, our home office, and handling daily office responsibilities

Work Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
• One Saturday morning per month: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM.
• Additional weekday hours may be available based on exam volume and staffing needs.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly compensation based on depth of medical/office experience, insurance exam background, and demonstrated phlebotomy proficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

• Independently perform in-office paramedical insurance examinations.
• Execute consistent, high-confidence venipuncture with minimal redraws.
• Collect, process, and prepare blood and urine specimens per insurer standards.
• Complete electronic exam documentation accurately using iPad-based systems as needed.
• Maintain strict compliance with privacy, quality assurance, and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Manage specimen shipping and exam supply inventory.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant with **substantial hands-on phlebotomy experience.**
• Minimum of **100+ documented successful venipunctures** (required).
• Prior experience performing insurance paramedical examinations a plus.
• Previous employment in a medical office or clinical setting required.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and professional patient interaction skills.
• Management experience and training skills could lead to a full-time position.

Employment Requirements:

• Successful completion of a background check.
• Successful completion of a urine drug screening.
