Senior Staff Accountant
Senior Staff Accountant
Location: York, PA
We are a growing company looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team! If you have 3+ years of accounting experience , we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and review financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support decision-making
- Oversee job costing and WIP schedules to track project profitability
- Support month-end and year-end closings, audits, and tax filings
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies
- Work closely with project managers to analyze job costs.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency within accounting operations
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- CPA or CMA preferred, but not required
- Strong skills in financial reporting, job costing, and reconciliations
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting software a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple deadlines
