St. Edmund's Academy
Field Hockey Assistant Coach
Start Date - August 2025
St. Edmunds Academy seeks an assistant coach for field hockey. The coach will collaborate with the athletic director and administration to provide a supportive and encouraging athletic experience for St. Edmund's Academy students. Practices are held 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Coach include:
- Supervise practices and games, working collaboratively to create equitable policies for attendance and playing time.
- Communicate information related to field hockey schedules to parents in coordination with other coaches and Athletic Director.
- Support the management of practice and equipment, uniform assignments.
- Attend and participate in the Fall Sports Celebration Assembly.
An ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant coaching experience
- The ability to cultivate a safe and positive environment
- A flexible and team-oriented approach
- All required PA and Federal clearances
