Sales Representative

Oakmoor Pallet Sales Opportunity:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new accounts, strengthening existing customer relationships, and working closely with pallet mills to deliver reliable, cost-effective pallet solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Generate new customers by identifying prospects from lead generation software, cold calling and referrals.

  • Develop new customer relationships across the Northeast region, including manufacturers, distributors, and logistics providers
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through consistent communication, trust, and service
  • Identify customer needs and recommend pallet solutions that balance performance, cost, and availability
  • Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, and activity tracking.
  • Track and report performance (sales volume, margin, customer growth, and retention)
  • Use PDS Design software to support pallet specifications, designs, and optimization
  • Stay informed on lumber markets, tariffs, supply conditions, and regional industry trends
  • Coordinate closely with pallet mills and logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Represent Oakmoor Pallet professionally at customer meetings and industry events

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably B2B or industrial sales
  • Strong understanding of relationship-based and consultative selling
  • Experience with or willingness to learn PDS Design software
  • Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a multi-state Northeast territory
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

· $50K Salary

· Goal $1,000,000 Sales with an 8% profit margin average

· 25% Commission of total profit ($20K)

· 401 K

Year 2

· $50K salary

· Goal $1,500,000 Sales with an 8% profit margin average (so $2.5 Mill total sales)

· 28% Commission of total profit ($56,000)

Year 3

· 100% Commission

· Goal $4,000,000 Total sales with an 8% profit margin average

· 40% Commission split of total profit ($128,000)
