Laboratory Research Assistant
- Process and handle biological samples for storage and analysis, including aliquoting and centrifuging according to biobanking SOPs.
- Maintain accurate sample logs, research records, and lab documentation.
- Assist with data collection, entry, and basic data analysis to support ongoing projects.
- Support coordination of research activities across study sites (Presbyterian, Mercy, and others as assigned).
- Collaborate with research investigators and staff to support experimental protocols and study needs. This role will support clinical and translational research in cardiology and dementia, with the opportunity to learn additional skills as projects progress. must be able to work at multiple sites including the Biomedical Science Tower, UPMC Presby and UPMC Mercy and other sites as needed.
