Join our vibrant educational team as a Floater Teacher – a dynamic role designed for passionate educators eager to bring their diverse experience into a lively classroom environment! In this position, you will serve as a versatile team member, supporting multiple classrooms and age groups, from toddlers to preschoolers. Your energetic approach and flexible mindset will ensure every child receives engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team, contribute to curriculum development, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development and early learning success.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing lesson plans across various classrooms.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages good behavior and active participation.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Support classroom routines such as diapering, potty training, snack time, and outdoor play
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities.
- Support lead teachers in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and educational environment.
- Adapt to different classroom routines and age-specific developmental needs.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
