CNC/Manual Grinder
We are seeking an experienced CNC or manual grinder to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in grinding and possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including mechanical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). A strong understanding of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) reports and quality control processes is essential. Experience working with close tolerances and knowledge of heat treatment processes is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC or manual grinding equipment.
- Read and interpret technical and mechanical drawings.
- Understand and apply GD&T principles.
- Review and analyze CMM reports for accuracy and quality.
- Work with close tolerances to ensure precise parts manufacturing.
- Ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the grinding process.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues.
- Utilize knowledge of heat treatment processes for optimal machining.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC or manual grinder.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and GD&T.
- Experience with CMM reports and quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to work with close tolerances.
- Familiarity with heat treatment processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
