Responsibilities for a Chaplain with Phoebe Emmaus:

The Per Diem Chaplain provides spiritual care in alignment with Phoebe Ministries Vision, Mission and Faith in Action Values on an on-call/as needed basis. Provides pastoral care to residents, their families, and staff as requested. May facilitate group activities including Bible study, Interfaith worship, devotionals, spiritual discussions, and grief groups. Follows through with assignments and duties; provides periodic reports to Regional Director of Pastoral Care and Education as requested.

Requirements for a Chaplain with Phoebe Emmaus:

1. The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families and co-workers.
2. MDiv or equivalent degree in theology or pastoral care preferred.
3. Minium three (3) years’ experience in ministry setting, clinical chaplaincy or eldercare experience preferred.
4. A minimum of two (2) Units of ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education preferred. Minimum of one (1) CPE unit required
5. Ordination or Endorsement in faith tradition preferred. Letter of support from faith tradition required.
