Position Details

• Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician
• Company: BG Staffing
• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the apartment community. Responsibilities include:

• Completing service requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks
• Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Preparing vacant apartments for new residents (make-readies/turns)
• Maintaining grounds and common areas as needed
• Ensuring all work is completed according to safety standards and company guidelines
• Communicating professionally with residents, property management, and team members

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
• EPA Certification is a plus but not required
