Sales Specialist
We’re looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Sample Management team at SPT Labtech. This is a remote, East Coast–based role, ideally located in the Northeast, focused on selling capital equipment into the Life Sciences market.
You’ll work closely with an experienced Sales Manager, taking ownership of a well-established Sample Management product portfolio while helping to drive its continued growth. You’re a natural relationship builder with a strong commercial mindset, comfortable engaging customers and advancing opportunities.

- Knowing how to position SPT solutions in relation to end-user’s workflows and explaining above all the benefits of the proposed solutions by using all the available communication tools (website, brochure, slide deck, application notes, videos,).
- Having a perfect command of the products and services programs and knowing how to propose a global solution by cross selling our product range.
- Ensuring that application knowledge is maintained at an optimal level by relying on the support functions (training, binomial tour, e-learning).
- Being responsible for CRM data and management
Beneficial Skills/Experience
- Ideally, 3+ years of experience in a capital sales specialist role is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in selling automated Sample Management/Lab automation technologies in the Eastern portion of the United States market.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Science discipline is mandatory, given the background required for the role.
- Ability to travel up to 50% across the Eastern portion of the United States.
- Familiarity with using CRM as a central sales tool.
- Established network across the Eastern portion of the United States.
- Proven success and ability to develop business.
- Ability to conduct presentations or complex demonstrations in front of varying audiences.
- Autonomy, team spirit, and remote work capabilities.
