Qualifications & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania — Pennsylvania nursing jobs
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER / ED) experience
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills for acute care
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities

Core Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and clinical decision-making for incoming patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and care plans accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient ED work environment consistent with hospital policies

Preferred Skills (ED / ER Nurse)

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and accurate charting
• Comfort with high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care and mass-casualty triage
• Basic and intermediate procedural skills (IV insertion, wound care, splinting)
