Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Join Our Team as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Make a Difference in Patient Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide exceptional anesthesia services in a dynamic clinical setting. This vital role offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team supporting a busy surgical environment, including cardiac, head, and healthy pediatric cases. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver anesthesia care to a diverse patient population across various surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage anesthesia for cases including mitral clips, Watchman procedures, and various head and healthy pediatric surgeries.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Cover all surgeries with supervision, supporting a fast-paced operating room environment.
- Active PA state licensure.
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA); Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Full-time availability (3-4 weeks per month) to accommodate scheduling needs.
- Experience with cardiac procedures, pediatrics, or outpatient surgeries.
- Certification in advanced airway management or related specialties.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and anesthesia systems.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in anesthesia practice.
- Previous experience working in hospital or surgical center settings.
- Valid PA license required.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours Monday through Friday; no call nights or weekends.
- No open heart surgeries or OB cases.
- Must be comfortable working with anesthesia techs and SCAs.
- This position is supervised; no pediatric CRNA options available at this time.
- No travel or stipends included; lunches are not covered.
- Hourly pay rate: $1.00 (premium shifts and overtime may apply).
