SVP, Senior Commercial Loan Relationship Manager
Applied Bank, Delaware's Top Rated Bank, is seeking an SVP, Senior Commercial Loan Relationship Manager. As part of Applied Bank's executive leadership, you will build and expand high-value commercial relationships across Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia, and neighboring markets. You'll leverage your network to deliver tailored lending, depository, and cash management solutions while reinforcing our commitment as Delaware's top-rated bank. This role is based out of our Headquarters in Glen Mills, PA. Summary: The SVP, Sr. Commercial Loan Relationship Manager will be part of the Bank's leadership team responsible for developing and implementing the Bank's lending and business development strategies.The SVP, Sr. Commercial Loan Relationship Manager will be responsible for maintaining and building account profitability with new and assigned customers by using a range of banking products such as term debt, bridge loans and construction financing as well as depository and cash management products. Essential Functions: Cultivating new lending opportunities that can be developed into strategic relationships with a strong focus on the Delaware and Southeastern PA markets along with contiguous counties in Maryland and New Jersey. Structure credits and loan facilities while maintaining sound risk management and asset quality Engage and network with leaders in the community to support the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives Ability to cross-sell products, along with proven sales and product expertise with business clients Maintain an assigned portfolio of diversified commercial loans in a manner that retains and builds upon customer relationships through exceptional servicing and value-added products Assist in facilitating the due diligence and closing of loan transactions. Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of implementing lending and business development strategies Knowledge & Skills: Strong sales and negotiating skills A strong rolodex and established relationships are pluses. Ability to negotiate, close debt transactions, and build profitable commercial customer relationships. Must have knowledge of commercial credit, financial statement analysis, and loan documentation. Must be extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently. Demonstrated strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills. Education & Work Experience: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 5 years related experience
