Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in food preparation techniques, with a strong understanding of meal preparation processes.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food service industry.
• Experience working in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong knife skills for efficient ingredient preparation.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
