Position Summary

A growing professional services firm is seeking a Senior Associate, Accounting Advisory to support a diverse portfolio of privately held business clients. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with business owners and leadership teams, providing accounting advisory services that improve financial reporting, strengthen accounting operations, and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a solid public accounting or advisory background, enjoys working directly with clients, and is looking to continue developing professionally in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting advisory engagements for privately held businesses, including financial reporting, compilations, reviews, and other consulting services.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist clients with accounting operations, bookkeeping oversight, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze financial information and provide meaningful insights to help clients make informed business decisions.
• Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to accounting and reporting matters.
• Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining quality, accuracy, and established deadlines.
• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted resource for accounting and financial questions.
• Mentor junior staff members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA (or in the progress of obtaining a licensure) is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, or financial consulting.
• Experience with middle market privately held businesses on accounting and operational matters.
