About the Role

ECBM is looking for an Accounting Representative to join our team! This person will report to the Director of Finance in our Accounting Department.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for Customer Receivables:

• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Monthly meetings with Producers to review collections
• Ensure receivables under 30 days
• Allocation of checks and EFTs received for daily deposit
• Prepare and draft Finance Agreements

2. Billing:

• Process client invoices in AMS360 in accordance with billing instructions

3. Daily Deposits:

• Perform mobile deposits of checks
• Reconcile daily deposits and ensure accurate posting in AMS360

4. Responsible for Insurance Company/Brokerage Accounts Payables

• Reconciliation of company statements and invoices
• Process payment via wire and/or ACH on daily Bank deadlines

5. Responsible for Commission Receivable

• Reconcile and record company commission statements
• Verify commissions received

6. Journal Entries:

• Create and record various accounting journal entries as needed

7. Finance Projects:

• Assist Accounting Supervisor and/or SVP of Finance with projects and initiatives
• Handles requests from producers, insureds, and management

8. Maintains effective and professional relationships with clients, vendors and other employee

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working with various office equipment, including the computer, working with AMS360 is a plus
• Microsoft Office
• College Degree preferred.
