Job Description:
Join a high-impact government-backed initiative developing a dynamic spectrum sharing system for 5G networks. This hands-on role focuses on full-stack development, testing, and deployment within lab-based cellular environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy code for 5G network features related to dynamic spectrum sharing

• Stand up and test physical network systems in lab environments

• Develop and integrate components across handsets, base stations, and core networks

• Modify and enhance open-source 5G stacks (OAI)

• Conduct simulations, performance testing, and system-level validation

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • Expertise in 5G and cellular networks (RAN, Core, UE)

  • C and Python development

  • Experience with spectrum sharing technologies

  • Hands-on work with OAI and UHD/USRP platforms

  • Familiarity with lab-based hardware/software integration

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Signal processing or telecom protocol development

  • ML/AI experience for spectrum or traffic prediction

  • Experience with RIC/xApps and cloud-native 5G architectures

  • Knowledge of simulation tools (MATLAB, etc.)
