APPLY NOW! Currently hirng Shipping Associates in the Jonestown, PA area for this distribtion center offering FULL TIME hours and a LONG TERM opportunity. The Shipping Associate will be responsible for operating a dock stocker, prep trucks for loading (cleaning, removing pallets, etc.) in addition to loading the trucks. They will also assist at times on the sort line (sorting the completed totes into their different store orders). Prior shipping and warehouse experience along with being able to meet quotas and fulfill orders in a timely manner is required to be considered for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other power equipment to safely unload incoming freight in the receiving area.
• Use RF scanners to process products as they are unloaded and place them on the dock in preparation for stocking.
• Resupply bins and storage locations using RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Maintain organized and properly labeled inventory freight to support efficient order picking.
• Perform stocking activities while on foot or using a reach lift to place products in designated locations.
• Use a Voice Collect headset to accurately select merchandise based on voice-directed instructions.
• Stage merchandise for transport in an orderly manner to ensure efficient movement through the warehouse.
• Fulfill customer orders efficiently while on foot or operating a forklift, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate forklifts or other power equipment to strategically load products onto outgoing trailers.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment and handling products.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and priorities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jonestown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.
