As a Software Engineer within PNC's Service Reliability Center organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Due to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate Software Engineers. Candidates should have experience with the following: Proficiency in Hadoop and PySpark for data processing and analytics Strong experience supporting applications on Linux
Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline troubleshooting Basic understanding of SQL (training available)
Ability to work with structured and semi-structured data Experience in a support role with on-call responsibilities (up to once per month)
Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain system reliability in production environments Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
