Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

Mactac North America
Moosic, PA

About Mactac:

Founded in 1959 by the late entrepreneur Burton (Burt) Morgan, and headquartered in Stow, Ohio, the Morgan Adhesives Company (Mactac) are a leading manufacturer and distributor of pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) materials. We know that you have seen, touched, and used our PSA materials - probably without even knowing it!

Our quality products are used in label printing, graphic design, packaging, retail display, fleet graphics, automotive assembly, medical device assembly, and many, many more. Today, Mactac employs over 1000 people and has manufacturing and distribution locations across the United States and Mexico.

Mactac's parent company, LINTEC, are leaders in the field of adhesive materials. Their product line-up covers many diversified fields including adhesive papers and films for seals and labels, shatter-proof window films, adhesive sheets for outdoor signs, interior finishing mounting sheets, automobile-use adhesive products, semiconductor-related tape, and LCD-related adhesive products.

If this is you, then let's talk!

You chose to study and work in the EHS profession because you want to make a difference.

Understanding regulations and being the subject matter expert is a core competency we expect, but that is only part of the story. What sets you apart is that you can convey relevant details to suit your audience. Your enthusiasm makes EHS a choice not a chore, and you can rally support across all levels of the organization, making positive changes to people's working environments.

You systematically look at underlying causes and trends, prior to developing proactive strategies to make safety excellence the norm.

Despite all your best efforts, you know that there will be roadblocks and setbacks, and your ability to keep focused will be critical in our Goal Zero mission. You can balance empathy for those undergoing change, with a tenacity to create a better future.

You appreciate that learning is continual, and you are just as willing to ask for help, as you are to share success stories with your peers in the network.

We are looking for a special person, a leader who will inspire others, with a balance of compliance knowledge, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills. With your help, we will make safety stick!
