Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Operations, you will lead with clarity, focus, and accountability ensuring that every franchise owner has the tools, guidance, and support they need to thrive. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Assertive leadership to generate results in line with the CertaPro mission, vision and strategic anchors of Market Share, Brand Experience and Financial Success
- Managing and leading Directors, General Managers, Regional Specialists and Franchise Owners/Teams to ensure theare operating at peak performance and exceeding desired business objectives
- Collaborate with other divisions/teams to ensure alignment to the overall company strategy and objectives
- Collaborate and execute the annual financial plan
- Resolve warranty issues and customer complaints
- Consistent communication with your team to ensure clarity and focus for short-term and long-term objectives
- Spend time in the field alongside Operations leaders and franchisees to provide hands-on coaching, reinforce best practices, and strengthen local execution, while aligning with organizational objectives and culture
- Assist with the development of P&Ls, sales and financial trending, and other financial reporting
- Direct and oversee strategic initiatives such as flight groups, co-ops, regional and national training
- Assist in the development of new programs and services to support Franchise Owners, and help them increase efficiency and profitability
- Prepare, coordinate and conduct meetings for the purpose of growing the brand and revenue
- Provide skill transfer to Regional Directors, General Managers, Regional Specialists, franchisees and their staff in the areas of marketing, sales, production, financial, etc.
- Leadership role in producing and delivering training materials while driving the strategy through meetings, workshops and other means of support
- Succession planning and talent development
- Plan and coordinate Franchise Owner functions to build morale, strengthen relationships and improve communications
- Leverage technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Operations Team
- Other duties, as assigned, using discretionary judgement to understand and balance priorities
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; MBA preferred but not required
- Minimum of ten years of Operations and/or Sales experience, with at least five years in leadership role with proven results
- Sales background with history of meeting and exceeding performance goals
- 10+ years of painting or related industry experience preferred but not required
- Proven business acumen and experience leveraging financial reporting such as P&L, Balance Sheet, etc. to drive business results
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well both independently and in a team-based environment
- Previous business ownership and/or experience in franchising a plus, but not required
- Ability to travel 50% of the time annually
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams that deliver results while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and trust
- Hold strong communications skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and assignments at a high level with pace
- Excellent ability to solve problems and drive organizational change
- Must have strong verbal and presentation skills to communicate with franchisees, company employees and outside vendors
- Must have strong writing skills to compose and maintain operations manuals and communicate with franchisees
- Must have excellent skills in discretion and judgment in working with franchisees and confidential information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

Hybrid Remote Work Policy:
Employees who live within a 50 mile radius of CertaPro’s Audubon, PA headquarters are subject to the Hybrid Remote Work Policy, which requires them to work from CertaPro’s headquarters every Monday and at least one additional day per week chosen by the employee. Employees subject to the Hybrid Remote Work Policy are also expected to work at CertaPro’s headquarters on days when there is a Meet the Team event for prospective franchise owners scheduled.
