Medical Technologist
FT: Medical Technologist, Erie, PA.
The staff technologist reports to the Laboratory Supervisor. The position encompasses component preparation & modification of whole blood and required Quality Control/blood component testing per FDA, Dept. of Health regulation and AABB guidelines. Staff technologists must be adept in entering and retrieving data from the computer. Technologists must be knowledgeable in AABB and FDA Standards in regards to component preparation and Quality Control testing. Subject to drug screening and criminal background check.
