Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our company. This position will work directly with the shareholders who are actively involved in the daily operations of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, Inventory, and Revenue Recognition.

• Prepare and review monthly internal financial statements with management.

• Report quarterly external financial statements to the bank.

• Manage year end close and reviewed financial statements with CPA firm.

• Work closely with project managers and management to track project costs and profitability.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, payroll and tax requirements.

• Manage cash flow and maintain strong relationships with banking partners.

• Assist sales management on larger project bids as needed.

• Maintain and support billing rates with key customers.

• Assist with the company's general insurance renewals and premium and coverage reviews. Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controller, preferably in the construction industry.

• Industry experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or equivalent designation preferred but not required.
