Telemetry RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Specialty: Telemetry Nursing
• Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania 15650 (Pennsylvania nursing jobs)
• Start Date: August 18, 2025
• End Date: November 17, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days: 06:30 - 19:00; Nights: 18:30 - 07:00), 36 hours/week, every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Setting: On-site, acute care hospital (clinical support environment)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or Compact State (required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support); additional certifications may be required per unit needs
• COVID-19 vaccination status required
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Two supervisor references preferred
• Completion of required facility modules prior to start date

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Telemetry unit, including continuous cardiac monitoring and rapid response to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health management and post-discharge care
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Float to other clinical units within the hospital as required to support patient care
