GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
R-V Industries is a design-and-build manufacturer of custom industrial process equipment, perating in a high mix / low volume environment, we engineer-to-order and build-to-print a wide range of specialty equipment. Production involves frequent changeovers, varying routings, and small batch sizes, with most manufacturing performed in-house by our fabrication, machining, and mechanical/electrical assembly teams.
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule that balances customer demand, material availability, labor resources, and manufacturing capacity to support efficient operations and on-time delivery. This role works closely with production, procurement, inventory control, customer service, and management to coordinate priorities, monitor production performance, and adjust schedules to meet operational and customer requirements.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES
- Develops and maintains the master production schedule (MPS) based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and resource availability.
- Actively monitors production capacity, labor availability, and material constraints.
- Coordinates scheduling activities across manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics.
- Manages the shipping schedule for R-V purchase orders and R-V customer deliveries.
- Adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, equipment downtime, or changing priorities.
- Collaborates with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Tracks manufacturing schedule adherence and delivery metrics.
- Communicates schedule changes and production priorities to relevant teams.
- Maintains accurate scheduling data within ERP/MRP systems.
- Prepares reports related to production status, backlog, capacity, and forecast planning.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling and operational efficiency.
- Serves various R-V teams and the customer during the execution of all projects.

EDUCATIONAL / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience scheduling, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably in a high mix / low volume manufacturing environment.
- Associates and/or a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, operations, or related field is a plus.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) a plus.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
