Heres what youd do:

The Construction Laborer with CDL A position is responsible for operating and driving CDL / DOT trucks in a safe and appropriate manner youll also be responsible for completing tasks on a construction site while not driving, according to blueprints and by direction of the foreman or site supervisor. As a Skilled Laborer you must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by policies and procedures. Majority of your work would be assisting in installing electrical and gas lines for local utility companies.

Youd be responsible for:

• Driving CDL trucks and small trailers with equipment to and from the job sites
• Picking up materials
• Hand digging, sweeping, backfilling holes, and running small equipment
• Cleaning equipment as scheduled and/or required
• Ensuring equipment is safely and securely stored
• Advising Foreman or supervisors of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
• Participating in routine maintenance
• Practicing workplace safety
• Maintaining job site inventory
• Filling out proper paperwork

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and randoms
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• Follow all Company policies and procedures

Physical demands:

• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (Overtime/weekend work will be required)
• Ability to work in extreme conditions Temps below freezing and above 100 Degrees F
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
